Legal Obligations of Property Owners under the Housing (Wales) Act 2014

 

Any property owner who has a rental property in Wales which is rented on an assured, assured shorthold, or regulated tenancy is required to register with Rent Smart Wales. If property owners are involved in any aspect of the letting or management of a rented property covered by the Act they should also be licensed by Rent Smart Wales.
